With the new update, content creators can enable subscriptions to their text, pictures, and videos on Twitter. To apply, creators can simply tap on the "Monetization" option in their account settings and follow the necessary steps.

The platform's new monetization feature provides an additional revenue stream for creators, allowing them to focus on creating more high-quality content for their followers. Earlier this month, Twitter lowered creator monetization standards, allowing more users to earn money from content. The minimum 10,000 followers requirement was significantly reduced to 500.

How does Subscriptions work?
Subscriptions is a way for people on Twitter to earn monthly income from the content they create. Specifically, you may get paid a share of the revenue Twitter earns from Subscriptions offering your most engaged followers an extra level of access and bonus content.
To participate in Subscriptions, you need to meet some eligibility criteria, such as having at least 500 followers, being at least 18 years old. You also need to comply with Twitter's rules and policies. Also there is a requirement to maintain a minimum of 25 Tweets every 30 days for participants who are accepted for subscriptions.
If you are eligible, you can apply to join Subscriptions through the Monetization tab in your settings. You will need to provide some information about yourself and your content, such as your name, email address, bank account details, tax information, and subscription price. You will also need to write an introduction and a description for your Subscriptions offering.
Once your application is approved, you can start creating and sharing exclusive content with your Subscribers. This includes:
Exclusive Tweets: In addition to the regular Tweets you post, you can also share Tweets that are only visible to your Subscribers. You can mark these Tweets as Subscriber-only by tapping on the lock icon before sending them.
Subscriber badge: Your Subscribers will stand out with badges next to their name whenever they reply to you. These badges are public and show that they support you and your content.
Subscribers Tab: You can find a tab in your Notifications timeline that’s dedicated to Subscriber activity. This lets you see who has Subscribed or unsubscribed to you, who has liked or replied to your exclusive Tweets, and who has requested a refund.
Subscription links: You can generate a dedicated link to your Subscription page that lets you share information about your Subscriptions offering on and off Twitter. This can help you grow your audience and attract more Subscribers.
Subscribers-only Spaces: You can host live audio conversations with your Subscribers in Spaces. You can invite them to join as listeners or speakers, and interact with them in real time.
