Warzone 2.0: A New Map, A New Mode, and A New Weapon
Warzone 2.0 is the next evolution of the free-to-play Battle Royale game that has taken the world by storm. In Season 03, Warzone 2.0 will introduce a new map, a new mode, and a new weapon.
The new map is called Al Qasr, and it is set in a fictional Middle Eastern country. Al Qasr is a large-scale map that features diverse terrain and landmarks, such as a palace, a bazaar, a dam, a refinery, and more. Al Qasr will offer different gameplay opportunities and challenges for players of all playstyles and preferences
The new mode is called Extraction, and it is a twist on the classic Battle Royale formula. In Extraction, players will have to find and secure intel packages scattered around the map. These packages will reveal the location of an extraction zone, where players can call in a helicopter to escape with their loot. However, extracting is not easy, as other players can try to steal your packages or shoot down your helicopter. Extraction will test your skills, strategy, and teamwork in a high-stakes scenario.
The new weapon is the AS VAL, an integrally suppressed assault rifle that excels at stealth and close-range combat. The AS VAL has high damage and fire rate, but low recoil and bullet velocity. It also has a unique attachment system that allows you to customize it with different barrels, stocks, magazines, and more. The AS VAL is unlocked at Tier 31 of the Battle Pass.
Modern Warfare II: Two New Maps, Two New Operators, and Two New Weapons
Modern Warfare II is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Modern Warfare that redefined the Call of Duty franchise. In Season 03, Modern Warfare II will add two new maps, two new operators, and two new weapons.
The two new maps are Terminal and Dome. Terminal is a remake of the classic map from Modern Warfare II that takes place in an airport terminal. Terminal is a medium-sized map that offers long sightlines for snipers and close-quarters combat for SMGs and shotguns. Terminal will be available for core Multiplayer modes and Ground War.
Dome is a remake of the classic map from Modern Warfare III that takes place in an abandoned radar station. Dome is a small-sized map that offers fast-paced action and verticality for all types of weapons. Dome will be available for core Multiplayer modes and Gunfight.
The two new operators are Soap and Ghost. Soap is a legendary member of Task Force 141 who returns from the original Modern Warfare trilogy. Soap is unlocked at Tier 0 of the Battle Pass and comes with two skins: Classic Soap and Nightfall Soap.
Ghost is a fan-favorite character who also returns from the original Modern Warfare trilogy. Ghost is unlocked at Tier 100 of the Battle Pass and comes with two skins: Classic Ghost and Phantom Ghost.
The two new weapons are the CX-9 SMG and the RAAL MG LMG. The CX-9 SMG is a compact submachine gun that has high mobility and accuracy. The CX-9 SMG has low damage and range but high fire rate and control.
