Microsoft's Bing now has 100M Daily Active Users; Thanks to OpenAI and ChatGPT
Microsoft has another reason to smile in 2023 as its Bing search engine has recently achieved a new milestone of 100 million daily active users. In a Bing blog post, Microsoft has shared the current statistics of new AI-powered Bing released a month ago. After several years of consistent growth, Bing has reached this new milestone of 100 million daily active users. Much of this recent growth is due to the addition of over one million users who have previewed the latest version of Bing.
While this is a notable achievement, still Bing is a relatively small player in the search engine market with a single-digit market share. Compare to Google's more than a billion daily active users, this traffic is very small but its a positive change for Bing's fortune which seems to be on a ride with ChatGPT from OpenAI.
As per the announcement - The search engine market is highly competitive but Bing is committed to constantly improving and evolving its platform to provide the best possible experience for its users. Bing's focus on innovation and user experience has been critical to its growth and success, and it will continue expanding its user base and making it an even more valuable tool for people around the world.
Bing is proud of its accomplishments and giving a message to the world that it's in the search engine race to win or capture a significant market share. Here are some important statistics shared by Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft in a Tweet.
